Kim Hyun Joong has set another record for himself.

On June 11, Japan's music chart company Oricon stated, "All 3 of Kim Hyun Joong's Japanese singles have consecutively sold over 100,000 copies in the first week of release. It's the first time this has occurred for any Korean solo singer active in Korea."

His newest single 'Tonight" sold 116,000 copies in the first week, placing him at #2 for both the Oricon daily and weekly charts only behind Japan's SMAP. His previous singles "KISS KISS / Lucky Guy" and "HEAT" have also achieved over 100,000 sales in the first week of release.

Kim Hyun Joong's label in Japan, Universal Music Japan said, "Looking at his large fanbase, the sales of his first 3 Japanese singles in addition to his first Japanese album 'Unlimited', the effect Kim Hyun Joong has on the Japanese music market is very big."

Pretties are always thinking of me! Thanks to the encouragements and saying that you’re missing me, I am spending each and every day healthily and enjoyably~
I miss everyone.. Miss you..^^
I once saw this sentence in a book. “From the everyday goods that were used by me for a long time, I can feel that there is a slight smell of friendship” As such, the things that stay with me for a long time gives me a comfortable as well as a joyous feeling. But with the beautiful love that we have by feeling for each other’s emotions, you don’t know how much more joyous and comfortable it felt. I think it is because the times we were together are neatly stacked up in my heart. I’m always grateful but the feeling of sorry seems to become as much as my grateful feelings..
Like how much we have grown attached to each other, I wanted to take care of you more and be good to you. Sorry that I wasn’t able to be good to you as much as I wanted to. Hm! But I will definitely give a big gift to Pretties~
Always being the strength for me, making me not to be contented with the current but to be dreaming of an even bigger dream, thank you ♥ I will spend this winter warmly by thinking of Pretties^^!

Goo Hye Sun and SS501‘s Heo Young Saeng have received the Korea Fulfillment Awards.

Heo Young Saeng tweeted, “I haven’t gotten an award in a while“, and posted a photo of the certificate. Goo Hye Sun also tweeted a photo of her award and tweeted, “I got the grand prize for the Korea Fulfillment Awards. I couldn’t go to the ceremony, so I’m giving you proof. I like the words that say I’m being an example for young people. I’m going to think of it as an award to my movie ‘Peach Tree‘. Thank you!“.

Fans congratulated both of them, saying, “Congratulations!“, “Wow, that’s cool“, and “I’m proud of you“.

SS501′s Kim Hyung Jun will be joining the Kim Ki Duk crew.
  The singer-turned-actor has been cast for a role in director Kim Ki Duk′s upcoming film, Actors are Actors.
He will thus be making his big screen debut with the film following his drama debuts with Glowing She and Late Blossom (I Love You) this year. 

Actors are Actors is about what happens when an actor who enjoyed sudden fame takes a big tumble to the bottom. It has already confirmed appearances by Yang Dong Geun, Seo Young Hee and MBLAQ′s Lee Joon.

The decision tops off a busy year the singer has been having, what with his two dramas, the release of his second solo album Escape and his nationwide Japan tour.  Actors are Actors is the next piece by director Kim Ki Duk following his big win at the Venice International Film Festival with Pieta.
