On 14th Strong Heart show, Kim Hyun Joong confessed 'On the day of the ceremony, Grandma passed away, I took down my bow tie, and put on a black tie'. Because of Kim Hyun Joong's character who doesn't like to talk much, doesn't really express his heart/thoughts to his family. It's the same when he gives allowance to family, it's either he don't say anything and just leave it at home or get his brother to pass it, wanted to express his own heart, but it's not so easy thus he's vexed.

"Last year Grandma passed away on the day of the award ceremony (MBC Drama Awards), took down bow tie, put on black tie, because of the busy schedule, not able to keep by Grandma's side before she pass away and felt very regretful. So have decided that before any regrets, will express my heart more often."
