After visiting and meeting the fans at some shops in Ho Chi Minh City, Kim Hyun Joong has officially had the fan meeting at the Queen Plaza and had a charity fund’s activity named “Children Smile”. More than 3000 lucky fans have been to the Queen Plaza to met Kim Hyun Joong and joined the auction. The excited atmosphere at the fan meeting was crowded than ever when Hyun Joong appeared with his beautiful precious charming smile. All the fans there were very happy when they saw Hyun Joong in person for the first time.

After saying hello to the fans and watching the performances of TripleS – the winner of TFS Contest, he was taking picture and signing for them. Then, the auction started . 3 Life size Standees of Kim Hyun Joong with his signature and HJ’s T-shirt, which he wore to playing football were brought on stage to sell. And in just few minutes, 3 Life Size Standees are sold at high price, in 9,500,000 VND ~ 11,500,000 VND. Surprisingly, a fans bought HJ’s T-shirt with a very high price, 19,000,000! Total amount received from the auction is 206.000.000 VND (≈ 9.800 USD) will be given to the Children Smile fund.

Lastly, he said that he will come back to Vietnam again next year to hold his first solo concert.

With an open-hearted and his friendliness, in a small conversation at Hyun Joong’s own room, but Kim Hyun Joong seems like he doesn’t want to show his beautiful smile much.

Q: How do you feel when you saw the love of the fans waiting at the airport and the hotel last night?

HJ: I was really surprised and happy, it has overcome my thought about the loves of Vietnamese fans before. But it also the reason that makes me worried for their safety.

Q: There are some comments said that you are “economizing” your smile a bit when you come here!

HJ: Firstly, it because of the late flight, and the other side is because I was worried for the fans’s safety. Hope that in the next activities here in Vietnam, especially in the fanmeeting, I could have more chances to meet all of the fans.

Q: Recently, your song “Please” get banned by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, do you want to share something about this?

HJ:I think this song is suitable for adult audience, so I think you could listen to it.

Q:After overcame the Asia music industry, do you plan to attend the world’s music industry?

HJ: Now, I’m having activities is Asia and of course I really want to develop all around the world. I have a plan in next year…

Kim Hyun Joong drew a huge sea of crowd to Ho Chi Minh Airport.

Currently in the midst of having his Asia Tour, Kim Hyun Joong, arrived on the 10th at Ho Chi Minh Airport after his activities in Japan. Huge crowd of fans came to welcome him. News of Kim Hyun Joong coming to Vietnam spread rapidly thru the net by the fans, causing the human traffic at Ho Chi Minh Airport to a standstill. The exact timing of his arrival wasnt even made known but the 2000 crowd consisting the fans and reporters started accumulating since afternoon causing the staff at the airport to be bewildered.

At around 10pm, Kim Hyun Joong appeared with a huge smile at the arrival hall waving greeting to all the fans. Kim Hyun Joong then got into the a car awaiting outside and left the airport, with a lot of fans who followed after his vehicle which caused a standstill to the surrounding traffic at the airport. The following day, there were many news on Kim Hyun Joong’s visit to Vietnam which proved his popularity.

On the 11th, he officially accepted all the interviews from reporters, with regards to his 1st solo mini album, his acting projects, and also what will he be doing next which is of concern to many. On the other hand, Kim Hyun Joong who is embarking on his Asia Tour activities will continue to visit Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and other countries to meet all his fans.

2,000 fans flood Vincom Plaza in Vietnam for Kim Hyun Joong

Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong captured the hearts of 2,000 fans who awaited his arrival in Vietnam.

Kim Hyun Joong, who’s currently in the midst of promoting his album across all of Asia, flew into Vietnam at 10:30am on August 10th. 2,000 fans waited for his arrival at the airport and screamed havoc once he stepped off the plane.

In response, Kim Hyun Joong smiled and waved at the girls, and made his best effort to greet as many of them individually as possible. There were enough fans at the airport to block street traffic, and Kim Hyun Joong’s vehicle couldn’t leave the airport premises for quite some time. The news of his arrival spread quickly and the Vietnamese media couldn’t get enough of him.

The next day, he sat down to conduct formal interviews for Vietnamese newspapers, magazines, and TV programs. The media was extremely interested in him as he was asked in-depth questions about his current album, and the next steps he plans to take as an entertainer.

He then made his way to Vincom Plaza to visit The Face Shop for which he is the model for.

Kim Hyun Joong plans to visit most of Asia during the month of August, including Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
